Unveiling Jack and the Beanstalk's GIANT cast

We're delighted to share with you our first cast announcement for this year's giant pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk!

Making their return to our main stage this December as Jack Trott and Princess Jill are Thomas Cotran and Alyce Liburd who you may remember from our previous pantomimes, Sleeping Beauty and Aladdin. 

Also joining the panto magic for his Dame-debut will be Pete Toon as Dame Trott, a familiar face from the pantomime circuit having performed at a range of venues including Leeds City Varieties.  

Working alongside the incredible cast, are a talented team of creatives including writer Andrew Pollard, Rachel Gee in a dual role of Director/Choreographer, lighting designer Chris Brearley, sound designer Jonathan Hudson and composer, arranger and Musical Director Robert Cooper.

Our Chief Executive, Becky Atkinson, said, "We strive to showcase actors on our stage who look and sound like our audiences. I am pleased to share that the first three cast members announced have natural regional accents, local to our theatre. We are so proud to be trusted by families to introduce their children to the wonder of live performance and pleased to welcome back audiences who have made visiting our pantomime their annual tradition.”

Running Fri 2 - Sat 31 December, Jack and the Beanstalk promises to be filled with the usual full-of-beans panto fun and frolics we know and love.

With spectacular effects, a side-splitting script and musical numbers to get you mooo-ving, come join Jack as he climbs up the beanstalk in this enchanting Christmas adventure of epic proportions!
