Renowned choreographer Jasmin Vardimon’s new show ALiCE comes to Huddersfield on Wed 21 – Thu 22 September for its only Yorkshire date. Vardimon is at the forefront of dance and digital technology. This visit cements us as a standout venue for showcasing high profile contemporary dance. The new show is a reimagining of the ground-breaking classic Alice in Wonderland.
Pilot Theatre bring Malorie Blackman’s famous book Noughts & Crosses to the stage Tue 1 – Sat 5 November. Told from the perspectives of two teenagers, Noughts & Crosses is a captivating love story set in a volatile, racially segregated society and explores the powerful themes of love, revolution and what it means to grow up in a divided world.
Our annual community production hits the main stage with an adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest written by Olivia Race and directed by Catherine Traveller. The show will bring together over 90 members of the community from across the Kirklees district for three performances from Thu 29 September – Sat 1 October.
The autumn season features a string of high-profile stand-up comedians including Jason Manford, Milton Jones and Daliso Chaponda. Jason Byrne is also performing his new show Unblocked in October.
