A performer stands on stage in a dramatic pose, holding a wooden stick with a red cloth bundle tied to the top, raised high. They wear a white shirt with lace-up details, a brown vest, dark trousers, and black sneakers. The background features a dimly lit set resembling a village scene, adding depth and atmosphere to the performance.

As a registered charity, we were delighted to partner with Northern BL°C for our 2024 Christmas Heroes appeal.

Established in 2014, Northern BL°C are based in the heart of Leeds and are on a mission to do ice cream differently. They pride themselves on being a value driven company, using all natural ingredients and bringing a flavour revolution to their ice cream.

Support for or Christmas Heroes Appeal

As one of our local suppliers, we were thrilled when Northern BL°C agreed to supply ice creams to support our 2024 Christmas Heroes appeal. With their support, we can bring the magic of theatre to even more children and their families across Kirklees.

Our annual Christmas Heroes appeal raises money to support us to bring hundreds of local children and their families to experience the joy of theatre over the festive season. Each child receives a VIP ticket to see our festive family pantomime, a show programme and a free ice cream. You can read more about our 2024 Christmas Heroes Appeal here.

“We are truly grateful to Northern BL°C for their generous contribution to our Christmas Heroes appeal. Their support means that we can support even more children and their families, who need it the most, to experience the absolute joy that pantomime (and ice cream) brings.”

“We’ve always been proud to support the arts, and theatres have been key supporters of NORTHERN BL°C since day one. Partnering with the Lawrence Batley Theatre for their Christmas Heroes appeal is our way of giving back. There’s something magical about ice cream and pantomime - they bring joy and create memories, and we’re thrilled to help make that happen for so many families this festive season.”
