We have been blown away with the support we have received from across our local community this festive season.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Reach Performing Arts who have leant us some of their incredible carnival costumes to be used as part of our Las Vegas scene in this year’s pantomime Dick Whittington. Reach Performing Arts are based in the centre of Huddersfield and welcome children and young people from all backgrounds, providing workshops for dance, singing and acting every Friday between 5pm and 7pm.
We are also incredibly grateful to Field Gate Xmas Trees for donating a beautiful Christmas tree for our courtyard. Field Gate Xmas Trees are based in Denby Dale, HD8 9LQ and Paul and Debbs have kindly donated the tree to bring even more magic to all our visitors this festive season. If you are visiting Lawrence Batley Theatre this festive season, be sure to tag them and us in your social media photos with the tree.
And finally, we would like to thank Tony Burke for his generosity in allowing us to use his beautiful picture of Lawrence Batley Theatre as this year’s Christmas Card. Tony is a Huddersfield based Watercolour Artist, and the town and district have inspired many of his pieces of work.
We are so proud to have such incredible support from our local community who help us to inspire, entertain and to grow.
Support us today and together we can keep on bringing the magic of theatre to people across Kirklees.
