30th Birthday
In 2024 we celebrated our 30th year, setting out to raise £30,000 to keep on making an impact in Huddersfield.
Each year we host over 450 performances, workshops and events that are enjoyed by more than 70,000 people both in our theatre and within the community. Community is at the heart of what we do. We believe local people absolutely deserve to have to best on our doorstep.
Standing strong at the centre of Huddersfield, we've managed to weather all the economic storms we’ve seen over the last three decades. In 2016, we began producing our own pantomimes, with a commitment to sharing Northern voices on our stage. During 2020, we produced online theatre in partnership with other regional theatres at the time, producing incredible shows featuring Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley and Russel Tovey.
Thanks to your generous donations, we hit our £30,000 target in our 30th year!
This incredible milestone means we can continue to champion outstanding home-grown talent, bring world-class shows to Huddersfield, and remain a welcoming space for our community.
