Christmas Heroes 2024: A Record-Breaking Year of Giving
2025 January 3We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Heroes appeal in 2024!
Our annual Christmas Heroes appeal returned in 2024 with the aim of supporting hundreds of local children and their families to experience the joy of theatre over the festive season.
Thanks to the incredible support of the local community (over 700 of you), we are delighted to share that we have raised an incredible £15,953 – a new record for the appeal!
Because of the generosity of so many of you, we have been able to work with 19 other local community groups and charities to invite hundreds of children and families, who need it the most, to enjoy the magic that pantomime brings.

Pantomime creates magic, offers escapism and a chance for children and young people to be inspired. This year’s attendees were invited to see our winter 2024 pantomime Dick Whittington, with a VIP ticket, show programme and ice cream all included.
Christmas Heroes is a year-round appeal. In 2025, we are raising money so we can bring even more children and families to see our winter pantomime Beauty and the Beast.
