Young Company

 Calling all creatives!

Are you a young person between the ages of 6 and 17?

Are you passionate about performing?

Are you keen to give drama a go?

LBT believes that all children and young people should have access to creative opportunities. This is why we raise funds to lead open access activities across the district for children and young people, as well as running a resident Young Company here at Queen Street. ALL of our young people's activities include a trip to the theatre so that they can experience the magic of live performance.

‘It’s everything she wanted from a drama class.’

‘He has loved every minute of it.’

Are you looking for a great first step into drama?

Stage Door Classes are all about imagination and discovery, where you can learn about storytelling and let your creativity grow.  Get hands-on with drama, build your confidence, and have fun.

The Jungle Book

In August 2015, Young Company members from across Kirklees took to our main stage for a riotous performance of The Jungle Book. This video shows what it's like to take part in one of our Play in a Week projects.
