Our resident children's theatre company are recruiting the following posts:

2 dancers/performers for contemporary dance theatre piece.

(one male, one female)

Tell Tale Hearts children’s theatre company are seeking 2 exceptional dance artists (1 male/1 female) for their forthcoming production entitled Yummm!, a three person show about eating, food, the rituals surrounding it and importantly the fun we can have with it on stage.

They require versatile dancers with a minimum of 2-3 years professional experience and previous touring experience.

The show will involve some audience participation and some vocal work/speech/play. An interest and willingness to work with young children is essential although it is not necessary to have performed in children’s work previously. The show will be produced in September and would also include a 3 day Research & development period at the beginning of July.

The contract would be from 10 September – 4 November 2012.

Pay £420/wk + per diems for touring period.

Rehearsals would take place in Leeds in September and the show tours nationally from 30 September – 4 November 2012.

Work Experience

We really like providing young people with the experience of working in the theatre.  We offer places to members of the LBT Youth Theatre or pupils at our partnership schools.  As a result of high demand, we are unable to offer any other places.
