Nancy, a nerdy art student in 1990 meets Frank, an ex convict at a party and the next 20 years are irreparably changed forever. Strange justifications, obsessive fixations on notorious minds, mental decline and the empowerment of a woman defeated.

Nancy follows the life of art student Nancy Church as she becomes infatuated with ex convict Frank O’Brien, from the moment that they meet, their fates become bound as one. After a wonderful six years and two beautiful children, the life of a firefighter becomes too much for Frank, who quickly descends into a life of crime. Meanwhile, Nancy, who understands, does all she can to keep a family from falling apart. An obsession with Charles Manson sends Frank completely insane, Nancy builds the courage to cut him from her and her children’s lives.
