Captioned performances are aimed at people who are Deaf and Hearing Impaired. Captioning, similar to television subtitling, converts the spoken word into text, which is displayed on a screen that is viewed by the audience.

Our Relaxed Performances are designed to create an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere so that everyone can enjoy the theatre.

 

Relaxed performances use less music and loud noises, and the houselights are kept on low to help those with extra sensory needs. People can leave and re-enter the auditorium as they please.

 

The relaxed performance of JACK & THE BEANSTALK is suitable for all ages and is accessible for individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, dementia and Alzheimer's disease, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities or any extra needs.

 

Relaxed performances can also be attended by parents with small babies who may be conscious of crying or needing to take them out of the auditorium.
